Geography 12
Students had atmospheric circulation and layers of the atmosphere assignments returned. Students saw their current grades. I marked rocks quiz but because several people did very poorly I didn't return them yet and will give anyone an opportunity to rewrite on Tuesday (tomorrow) at lunch.
We talked about dew point, humidity and relative humidity today. We watched a couple of videos to help understand the difference between relative humidity and dew point (see below) and talked about station models, what they are and who would access these. Then students worked on a review sheet that went with a reading from pages 62-70 in Geography (old text) which is due tomorrow
. Here are the videos and station model data info.

We flew through the business cycle and defined some key terms and did a work sheet on this. We did some notes and discussed Government response to the depression at this time. We looked at the On to Ottawa trek, and the relief camps. And started to look ahead to the rise of Hitler. Lots of notes and info today to try and sum up the depression era.
